MSU Safe Communities
Murray State University is the first public university and the third academic institution in the world to be designation as an International Safe Community by the World Health Organization Collaborating Centre on Community Safety and is a member of Safe Communities America and the Pan-American Safe Communities. The MSU Safety Network has been established and is charged with assisting the university in identifying risks related to the safety and health and quality of life of students, faculty, staff, and monitoring current programs and identifying new programs that would need to be implemented in order to appropriately address these risks.
