Sigma Alpha Iota is a professional women's music fraternity dedicated to the promotion of music in the school, the community, and throughout the world. This organization brings collegiate and alumnae women together to achieve this goal.
Iota Beta Chapter currently has about 40 active members, and belongs to Psi C Province. The chapter was founded in 1939, when a group of talented young women, along with Price Doyle, their advisor, began investigating the organization. On February 3, 1939, Iota Beta chapter was founded.
Since then, we have become highly involved in many music activities on campus, including hosting All Campus Sing, Athena Festival, and co-producing Campus Lights.
