National Tests
A note about fees for the COMPASS, ACT-R and Miller Analogies Test and rescheduling . Fees are payable prior to scheduling a test date. Fees are not transferable to dates other than the one initially scheduled unless we receive notice that you will not attend the test at least 3 working days prior to the scheduled examination. Fees are not refundable

- Compass
- The COMPASS test is a new alternative for first-time freshmen who have not taken the ACT and are 21 or older. The Compass test will also be offered to first-time freshmen who took the ACT test over five years ago and their test scores are less than an 18 in English and Reading and 19*in Math. To take all three sections of the Compass test you should allow approximately three hours. You can access sample questions at the following website: http://www.act.org/compass/tests/index.html.
The Compass test is administered by appointment only through the Office of Counseling and Testing. If you would like to schedule an appointment for the Compass test, or if you have questions, please call 270-809-6851. Compass Test fees are as follows, $20.00 for standard three test battery; $7.00 for single tests. - Contact the Office of Admissions(270.809.3741) for verification of eligibility to take the Compass in place of the ACT. The Counseling Center must receive this verification before registering you for the Compass Test.
