Opening for Graduate Assistantship Positions

Graduate students that meet the minimum requirements and are interested in applying for a graduate assistantship should follow the proper steps to completing an application:

  1. Contact your academic department for any openings
  2. View published openings of graduate assistantships listed below and contact the office directly if interested

Graduate Assistant Position

Job Responsibilities:

  • Daily processing of renewal and new membership payments
  • Input data into membership database
  • Create and develop Newsletters for Wellness Center
  • Administrative duties for the department
  • Assist in coordinating undergraduate student worker interviews, trainings, and evaluations
  • Assist in the coordination of departmental special events and programs that promote fitness and wellness
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor in order to increase participation, enhance experiences, and provide necessary services

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate to various forms of media outlets effectively and establish favorable public relations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
