Lt. Col. Martin R. Stytz, USAF, (ret.), will be at Murray State University on Monday, April 15, 2002. The topic of Lt. Col. Stytz's talk will be "Cyber Warfare". This is the third in the "Current Concepts in Telecommunications" series being hosted by the Center for Telecommunications Systems Management.
Lt. Col. Stytz, is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with a BS in Political Science. He has Masters Degrees from Central Missouri State University in Political Science and the University of Michigan in Computer Information and Control Engineering. Lt. Col. Stytz earned a Doctorate in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan.
In addition to fourteen years of military service in the United States Air Force, Lt. Col. Stytz is a former Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the Air Force Institute of Technology and was the Chief Principal Research Scientist and Engineer at the Air Force Research Laboratory.
Lt. Col. Stytz has authored numerous technical papers, technical journal papers, chapters for technical books, and is the holder of a US patent. He has experience in security, cyberwarfare, information assurance, and information security. He holds membership in the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), IEEE Computer Society, the American Association for Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), as well as several other professional organizations.
Lt. Col. Stytz's talk will be in the Curd Auditorium of the Martha Layne Collins Center for Industry and Technology on the Murray State University campus, Monday, April 15, 2002, at 7:30 p.m. The public is invited and there is no charge.
