Europe in Transition

The EiT Program is offered every odd year and is contingent upon funding support. If the program is not funded, accepted presenters will be eligible to participate in future seminars without resubmitting their proposals.

Murray State's Europe in Transition program is one of several professional development opportunities sponsored by Murray State's Education Abroad Office. EiT is a European experience of seminars presented by Murray State faculty and professional staff, with excursions in and around Regensburg, Germany (the program's home city), group travel to a Central European city, and independent weekend travel. Under the guidance of the program's Resident Director, seminar participants enjoy an extensive, interdisciplinary opportunity to learn about some of the forces shaping historical and modern Europe.

Participation in EiT allows you the opportunity to consider how international education can impact your profession and your classroom. Participation in EiT is highly encouraged for anyone who wishes to teach on the semester program but it is not a requirement of all participants in EiT to teach on the semester program.
