Are you interested in learning more about service learning and how to implement it into a course?
Here at the Office of Service Learning we work to provide you with academic and co-curricular opportunities that connect you to the local community and the world through service. We aim to deepen and enhance your educational experience at Murray State University by helping you understand how you can contribute and make a real difference in the lives of others.
Join Shawna Thomas, Instructional Designer/Service Learning Coordinator, and your colleagues in a service learning challenge to define and apply the practical knowledge and strategies involved in implementing service learning within the classroom and the community.
You will discover how to:
Define service learning
Develop and implement service learning into your course
How to apply for the service learning designation
You will also have the opportunity to schedule follow- up consultations with Shawna Thomas.
