The KYOTE Placement Exams will be administered in Lowry Center 1D on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, to students seated for the exam between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

These are placement exams; they are not challenge exams for credit in any course. The purpose of the three KYOTE Placement Exams is to determine placement in the following courses: MAT 095, MAT 096, MAT 097,  MAT 117, ENG 096, ENG 105, REA 096 and ESS 120. They are useful for anyone with no ACT or SAT scores as well as for students who have taken additional coursework since they last took the ACT or SAT exam.

The KYOTE Exams are free. Each placement exam takes approximately one hour. Depending upon your score on an exam, you might be directed to take an additional KYOTE Exam. You may be seated in Lowry Center 1D to begin the exam anytime between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018.

Practice exams are available at http://www.kyote.org upon registration for a placement account at that site. FireFox or Chrome should be used if taking the computer-generated practice exams.
