Restart
Face Coverings/Masks Required in campus buildings (including classrooms), when entering/exiting campus buildings and elsewhere unless stipulated in the Racer Restart Plan. Same as Phase II
Social Distancing All employees (faculty and staff), students, visitors and contractors must adhere to social distancing guidelines, including remaining at least six feet apart from others whenever possible and avoiding casual contact such as shaking hands. Same as Phase II
Buildings All Murray State buildings will remain closed to the public, with access given only to employees working on campus with keys. All Murray State buildings will be open with most buildings unlocked during normal business hours.
Wellness Center Closed Open for Murray State employees and students only.
Quarantine/Contact Tracing Murray State will work with area health departments regarding all quarantine and contact tracing measures. Appropriate internal Murray State employees will be notified of any outbreaks that may or may not occur with next step procedures. Same as Phase II
Domestic Travel University-sponsored travel canceled (essential travel must be approved by VP/President). University-sponsored travel will continue to be on hold for students, faculty and staff, unless deemed essential and approved by VP/President.
International Travel Murray State official international travel is not allowed. All international arrivals, including faculty, staff and students returning from abroad must follow all state and CDC designated restrictions and guidance. Same as Phase II
Events No on-campus events may occur. Events may occur on a limited basis, adhering to all state and CDC guidance, but must be approved by VP/President. No non-Murray State sponsored events will be occurring.
Visitors Only select visitors allowed to campus, through appointment only (i.e. Recruitment visits, testing center participants, etc.) Visitors to campus are allowed, as long as they follow all Racer Safe and Healthy Guidelines.
Contractors/Vendors Must adhere to all Racer Safe and Healthy Guidelines. Same as Phase II
Racer Safe and Healthy Checklist Faculty and staff currently on campus and those returning in July must complete the Racer Safe and Healthy Checklist via myGate by July 10.

Faculty, staff and students returning to campus for the Fall Semester must complete the Racer Safe and Healthy Checklist via myGate by August 1.

New students must also complete the checklist prior to campus arrival. After initial completion, it will be required for all groups at the beginning of each month.

COVID-19 Self-Health Assessment Faculty and staff currently on-campus and those returning in July must use a COVID-19 app or use an online screening tool for daily self-health assessment before arriving to an on-campus location.

Racer Safe and Healthy Training Training for employees (faculty and staff) as well as students was developed and/or made available.

Training for both employees (faculty and staff) and students will be required at the beginning of the fall semester.
