Secondary Certification in Physics - Major

Secondary Certification in Physics prepares students to teach Physics to grades 8-12 in Kentucky.

Curriculum


University Studies Requirements………….. 46-55 hrs
(see Chapter 4, University Studies Requirements)

University Studies selections must include:
        Social and Self-Awareness and Responsible Citizenship:
EDP 260 Psychology of Human Development

Note:Certification requires a grade of B or better in one English composition course and a C or better in a University Studies math course, public speaking, and EDU 103 or equivalent course. Additional requirements
for admission to teacher education and student teaching must be met. See advisor and/or Office of Teacher Education Services for details.
