Oral and Written Communication (7 hrs)

Scientific Inquiry, Methodologies, and Quantitative Skills (7 hrs)

  • One science course with lab (4-5 hrs)
  • One math course (3-5 hrs)

World’s Historical, Literary, and Philosophical Traditions (6 hrs)

  • CIV 201 or CIV 202 [or HON 201 or HON 202]
  • HUM 211 [or HON 251]

Global Awareness, Cultural Diversity, and the World’s Artistic Traditions (6 hrs)

  • Two semesters of a single language
    This implies 6 new hours of language study. Students may not test out of these language requirements. For future graduate study in music, German or French is recommended.

Social and Self-Awareness and Responsible Citizenship (6 hrs)

  • Ethics, Social Responsibility and Civic Engagement Elective
  • Social Science Elective
