Jim Bryant: Sabbatical Work

July 1 - August 30

MSU Art & Design Department faculty member Jim Bryant exhibits work he created during his 2008 sabbatical. The work on display was created by combining a number of various printmaking techniques including woodcut, inkjet, silkscreen, and etching.

Macmillan & Grafton

Lecture: Thursday, October 1, 3:30 pm

Metalsmiths Sean Macmillan and Adrienne Grafton exhibit recent work. Grafton's pieces are wearable jewelry while Macmillan's are more sculptural in nature. Artist Sean Macmillan will deliver a public lecture on Thursday, October 1, at 3:30 pm, in Price Doyle Fine Arts Room 631.

Jeanne Beaver: Sabbatical Work

October 9 - November 8

MSU art & Design Department faculty member Jeanne Beaver exhibits work created during her 2008 sabbatical. An eclectic exploration of relationships of form, as well as the ideas of tension, and scale, in particular, smallness, within the framework of functional jewelry utilizing sterling silver, some enameling, and a few (tiny) found objects.

Lecture: Thursday, November 12, 3:30 pm

Artist Christa Dalien will create a site-specific installation with various mixed media and drawing elements. She uses rock and plant imagery to create enchanted spaces. The artist will deliver a public lecture on Thursday, November 12, at 3:30 pm, in Price Doyle Fine Arts Room 631.
