If visiting on a day that students are on campus is important to you, please keep the following dates in mind while scheduling your campus visit.
Individual Visits
Murray State University welcomes visitors to campus most weekdays, as well as on select Saturdays during the fall and spring semesters. Because space is limited, we encourage you to schedule your visit well in advance.
While every effort will be made for you to meet individually, space restrictions may occasionally result in multi-family meetings.
Weekday Visits
Weekday appointments are scheduled at 9:00, 10:00 and 11:00am, 1:00 and 2:00pm.
A typical visit consists of an information session with an admission counselor who will be able to discuss with you admission criteria, financial aid and scholarship opportunities as well as information about housing, dining services and student life. You will also go on a student guided walking tour of campus. Together this takes approximately two hours.
In addition, you may request to meet with an academic department. If we are able to confirm that appointment, you should add an additional one to two hours to your visit time. We ask that you give us at least two weeks' notice to try to arrange academic department visits. While we will do our best to schedule these appointments, they are not guaranteed, especially if requested at the last minute.
