Office of Multicultural Affairs

The Multicultural Center exists to serve and support students of all colors. The Center sponsors cultural, social, and educational programs/workshops on campus. All students are encouraged to visit the Dr. Marvin D. Mills Multicultural Center and share concerns or seek assistance in career, education, or college/cultural adjustment. Academic Support Services:

  • Services for Students with Learning Disabilities (SSLD): The SSLD office offers academic support and accomodations for students diagnosed with learning disabilities, ADHD, traumatic brain injury, seizure disorders, and other disorders that affect learning.
  • Student Support Services: SSS is a retention program funded by the U.S. Department of Education that offers academic support services to students who meet certain federal guidelines. Services include: tutoring, academic advising, personal development skills, financial aid and career counseling, cultural/social activities, and services and accommodations for students with disabilities.
