The Women's Center is always welcoming volunteers. We ask that volunteers work at least 5 hours a week, and that they work specific, scheduled hours. Student volunteers can work as many hours a week as they wish, but at least 5 of them must be scheduled.
We ask that all volunteers attend the weekly staff meeting (Tuesdays from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.) and that will count as one of your five scheduled hours. If you have class or cannot attend, let us know when you make your schedule.
How to Apply
If you are interested in apply to be a volunteer, the best thing for you to do is visit the Center. Come by at any time throughout the week during our hours (8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.) and someone will be there to welcome you. Let them know you are interested and they will give you an application and a brief tour of the Center.
Once you have applied, met with Jane, and scheduled your hours, you will begin volunteering.
