Mission statement
The Department for Facilities Management is a service organization responsible for planning, construction, renovation, maintenance, and operation of buildings, facilities, utilities, grounds, custodial, transportation and other services. Our goal is to provide these services consistent with Murray State University's standards and the level of funding from the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
University building information
The Department for Facilities Management is responsible for the maintenance and care of most on-campus buildings, numbering almost 50. It is also responsible for 15 satellite facilities and properties in the Western Kentucky Region. Information concerning square footage, acreage, classroom space, location and purpose of the buildings is included on this site.
