Our normal operating hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
During June and July, our summer hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
While classes are in session during the fall and spring semesters, the University Helpdesk will offer extended hours. Extended hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.
During the after-hours period (4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Mon-Thurs, 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday), the Helpdesk will be closed to walk-ins but will continue to offer support to users over the phone at 809-2346. If a question or problem cannot be answered over the phone, a work order will be placed and handled the next business day. Please be aware that we currently cannot reset myGate accounts after 4:30pm.

MSU Account Services
You will find the Account Services box on the left hand side of the myGate Home tab. Users can now consolidate their Canvas, RacerMail, myGate, and Network passwords to one password using the "Change Password" button. Instructions are on the Support Site.
You will need your student network account to access the internet from the residential colleges and log on to computers in the computer labs on campus. Computer lab hours and locations
Wireless access for mobile devices
If you have a mobile device and would like to connect to Murray State's wireless network, students can use MSUstudent and employees can use MSUemployee to do so. If you have questions, feel free to contact us at 809-2346.
