Educational Talent Search is a federally funded program that encourages individuals to pursue their education beyond the high school level. Services are provided to students in grades 6-12 and adults.

Educational Talent Search serves six counties in West Kentucky: Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman and Marshall.

Services Provided by ETS include:

• Academic advice and assistance in secondary school and college course selection
  
• Personal development workshops such as time and stress management, self-esteem, study skills
  
• Career exploration and assistance in choosing a college major
  
• Counseling for career planning, financial aid assistance and personal concerns
  
• Assistance in completing college admission and financial aid applications
  
• Assistance in preparing for the ACT
  
• Exposure to college campuses as well as cultural events, academic programs and other sites or activities
  
• Workshops and counseling for parents of students served
