Create your own faculty led program

Study abroad takes multiple forms at Murray State University. One option for our faculty is the ability to create a new program from the ground up, becoming a Faculty Director. Creating your own program enables you as a faculty member to chose new sites or program lengths outside of existing study abroad options. As a Faculty Director, you will choose the sites you wish to visit, tours you want to include, even the hotel and modes of transportation. If you wish to work with a program provider to manage the logistical details, the Study Abroad Office can suggest options (such as EF or IES).

To propose your own faculty-led program, you must complete the Faculty-Led Program Proposal within the online application system. You may choose to meet with the Study Abroad Office prior to completion of the proposal. We invite you to make an appointment to meet with the Associate Director to discuss possibilities at any time. The information below will help you get started.
