Closing Day Information 2012

Closing Day for the 2012 Murray State GSP campus will be on July 27.

The GSP Closing Ceremony will begin at 9:00am in Lovett Auditorium (the same location as the Opening Ceremony). The event typically lasts an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes.

We ask that parents do not meet with their scholars before the Closing Ceremony; they will be going through final preparations. Also, scholars will not be allowed to begin moving out until after the ceremony has finished. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Parking logistics will be the same as with Opening Day at the beginning of the summer. Please refer to the map below and the related instructions. Thanks.

Directions to Move-in Day parking areas *

To Parking Lot A – Soccer/Waldrop Drive lot:

Due south from US 641/12^th Street, turn right onto Chestnut Street

Turn right onto Waldrop Drive

Turn left into first parking area adjacent to intramural soccer complex (

To Parking Lot B – Waldrop Tennis Court lot:

Due south from US 641/12^th Street, turn right onto Chestnut Street

Turn right from Chestnut onto Waldrop Drive

Drive past Clark & Richmond residential halls and turn left into parking area adjacent to intramural tennis complex

To Parking Lots C & D – Residential/Winslow lot:

Due south from US 641/12^th Street, turn right onto Chestnut Street

Turn right from Chestnut onto Waldrop Drive

Turn into first parking lot after Baptist College Ministry (BCM)

Follow the lot around until open space is found

To Parking Lot E – Curris Center lot:

Due south from US 641/12^th Street, turn right onto Chestnut Street

Turn left into Curris Center parking area
