Notations
After a year in the making, the Notations editors unveiled the 2013 issue of Murray State University's annual student literary journal with a celebratory reading on May 2. If you missed the reading, you can still snag a copy at the Department of English and Philosophy offices, 7C Faculty Hall.
Notations publishes poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and artwork. All work is produced, selected, and published by MSU students. The year-long process of putting the magazine together begins each fall semester when interested students attend organizational meetings to form reading juries and to select editors. Submissions are due at the end of the fall semester, and selections are made in the early spring. The magazine appears near the end of the academic year, followed by a campus reading given by contributors.
The magazine is free to all MSU students and other interested readers. Visit the Notations page for information on getting involved or submitting your work.
