Student Organizations
Phi Alpha Theta, the national honor society in history, aims to promote the study of history by encouraging historical research, publication, presentation of papers, and discussion by history students and faculty alike. Phi Alpha Theta strives to further the study of history and to acknowledge academic achievement in history. Xi Lambda Chapter was established at Murray State University in December 1968.
