The Division of Communication Disorders (CDI) focuses on the study of speech, language, and hearing sciences and disorders. The Division offers undergraduate degree programs in Communication Disorders and a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. The graduate program is accredited by the Council of Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. The Division also provides diagnostic and treatment services for children and adults who have speech or communication disorders through its operation of the MSU Hearing and Speech Clinic. The clinical services are provided by graduate students under the supervision of clinical supervisors who hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and KY license in speech language pathology or audiology.
