The
Division of Nutrition, Dietetics and Food Management offers a B.S. degree
with a choice of three options. The Dietetics option prepares students to become Registered
Dietitians (R.D.), the primary professionals in the field of food and
nutrition. The Food Management
option prepares students for careers in the business of foods and food
service management. The Consumer
Nutrition option provides a curriculum for students interested in developing
an expertise in nutrition and food for positions not requiring the R.D.
credential.
The
Division also houses a Dietetic Internship Program which provides graduate credits and leads to credentialing as a Registered
Dietitian.
