The Department of Nursing at Murray State University offers registered nurses from both diploma and associate degree nursing programs an opportunity to complete requirements of the baccalaureate degree in nursing. RN’s with associate degrees and diploma graduates whose courses were taken through an accredited college or university may have several credits to transfer from previous education. RN students will do clinical requirements for courses on an independent basis. The program is designed for both part-time and full-time students. Courses are offered at extended campus sites (Henderson, Hopkinsville, Madisonville, Paducah) as well as the Murray campus. Every effort will be made go meet the unique needs of registered nurses committed to excellence in practice.
