Murray
State University has numerous academic
and leadership scholarship opportunities. To be considered, students must
apply every year. The deadline for application for all undergraduate (high
school seniors, current college students, transfer students) and graduate
students is February 1 each year. Applications are available by November
1 each year. Awards are generally made by April 1.
Applications and information are now available online. The Scholarship
Office website is: http://www.murraystate.edu/scholarships/index.htm High School students must either download an application from the Office
of University Scholarships website or obtain a copy from their high school
counselor. You may still apply for scholarships if your ACT score is not
on file with Murray State. However, you will not be sent an application
automatically. You must request one yourself. To be competitive you should
have a 25 ACT, leadership responsibilities, a strong, well-written essay,
and be in the top 15% of your graduating class. College level work should
be with a 3.5 GPA or better. Upperclassmen may access the online application,
or pick up a copy in Ordway Hall, room 122.
