Before class:

Visit several local farm equipment dealerships or collect farming magazines that may be used for cutting out farm pictures.

Collect these supplies:  scissors, glue, masking tape, poster board and marking pens.

During class:

Review the GPS & Precision Agriculture Handout and/or the Cycle of Precision Farming PowerPoint presentation downloadable from this site.

Divide students into groups and have them construct the Cycle of Precision Farming using cutout pictures from magazines and/or drawings with markers.  Not all students will be able to find pictures of the exact step, but encourage students to use their imaginations or draw their own.
