| Leadership Programs The Leadership Programs at Murray State University are a wonderful way to meet new people, enhance your leadership skills, and get connected at the university. The programs also educate and expose students to real life issues involving leadership. The following three leadership programs are offered at Murray State University.
These sessions are bi-weekly and are offered during the fall and spring semester. At the end of the program, students who successfully complete the program will be recognized with a certificate of completion. Leadership Murray State Leadership Murray State (LMS) is a semester long program designed to help highly involved upper-class Murray State students fine-tune their leadership skills and abilities. The program also introduces new concepts and ideas to the student leaders. We offer sessions that cover a variety of leadership topics including:
Leadership Murray State can now be taken as a class credit. At the end of the program, students who successfully complete the program will be recognized with a certificate of completion. Youth Leadership Workshop The Youth Leadership workshop occurs in the spring semester and brings together high school juniors from this region. These high school juniors are nominated by their high school guidance counselor to participate in the leadership workshop. The goal of the program is for students to learn valuable leadership skills they will be able to apply in their school and community. The selection guidelines include the following:
