Dr. Lacewell received his Ph.D. in 2001 and M.S.B.A. in
2000 from Mississippi State University. Additionally he
received his M.B.A. in 1991 from Murray State University
and his B.S. in 1990 from the University of Tennessee.
He currently teaches classes in corporate finance, financial
institutions, and commercial banking. He has published
and made professional presentations in the areas of mergers
and
acquisitions,
consumer bankruptcy,
and financial institutions management. Dr. Lacewell was
previously employed by the United States Treasury Department
and as a senior officer at two commercial banks from 1991
- 1997.
