BIS Admissions procedures

How to apply to the BIS program

Students must have previously earned at least 60 credit hours to be eligible for admission to the program. In order to apply for admission to the BIS program at Murray State University, please send the following items to:

  • 1. Your completed BIS Admission Application with a check written to Murray State University for the $30.00 non-refundable application fee
  • 2. Official transcripts from all colleges attended

Once you are admitted, you will receive a letter of acceptance in the mail. You will then need to contact your BIS adviser to get signed into the first course, BIS 399. Completion of registration for this course and payment of tuition and fees enroll you in the BIS program. At that time you may also register for other classes.

Former Murray State students

If you previously attended Murray State, please print this release form and follow instructions on the form to either fax or mail it in. Once you have submitted your release form, an adviser will be happy to access your MSU transcripts and put together a tentative BIS degree plan for you.
