The Design Group is open to anyone interested in graphic design. Affiliated with the Nashville chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the Design Group hosts a regional student design conference. The 2004 conference, sponsored by Adobe Systems Incorporated and Step Magazine will be held February 27 & 28.

The MSU Student Chapter of the National Art Education Association and the Kentucky Art Education Association is an organization for future art educators.

Founded in 1947, the National Art Education Association's purpose is to promote art education through professional development, service, advancement of knowledge, and leadership. Students seeking P-12 teacher certification in art are encouraged to join this organization to begin their professional development in their chosen field of art education.
