Kappa Omicron Nu is a national honor society.
The mission of Kappa Omicron Nu is empowered leaders in Family and Consumer Sciences.  This mission will enable the organization and chapters to prepare scholars and researchers as leaders for the new millennium.

Membership is available to majors related to any of the following specialty area including but not limited to: business, family and consumer sciences education, consumer resource management, food science and human nutrition, human environment and housing, individual and family development, institution/hotel/restaurant management, merchandising management, textiles/apparel and clothing.

To be eligible for membership in Kappa Omicron Nu, undergraduate students shall:
