Important Emergency Information

All vehicles on the Murray State University must have parking permits.  If you have a current permit, be sure to park in the appropriately designated lots.  If you are a visitor to campus, you must request a permit in advance of your visit. Visitor permits are FREE and  available by calling the Parking Office at (270) 809-4812 or via email at 
  • msu.publicsafety@murraystate.edu
  • Include the following information:   Vehicle Year, Make, Model, Color, License Plate #, County, and State in which the vehicle is registered.

Counseling services are confidential. Call our office at (270) 809-6851 for an appointment with our staff or stop by our offices. We cannot respond to email requests for counseling or appointments for counseling.

Our center does not perform court ordered or mandated counseling or assessment  With the exception of national testing programs and credit by examination, services are limited to currently enrolled students and currently employed faculty and staff.  Faculty and staff are scheduled on a space available basis.  Additionally, all services may not be available during summer terms.  Please call ahead to verify the availability of staff and services during summer semesters.

If you respond to our staff by email you may wish to consider the following: If you do not get a response to your email - the person to whom you are sending the email may be unavailable to check her/his mailbox for a period of time as a result of travel off campus, vacation, or illness. You may wish to contact the office from which you are seeking information by another means. We appreciate your visit to our web site.
