Office
of Environmental Safety & Health
The primary mission of the Office of Environmental Safety & Health (ESH) is to advance and support a safe and healthful environment at Murray State University and the satellite campuses. ESH works to meet this goal through surveys, consultation, teaching, advising, and environmental assessments. As the University's liaison, ESH works with outside regulatory agencies and organizations to address applicable safety and health standards. Organization and FunctionThe Office of Environmental Safety & Health is located within the Department of Facilities Management. The primary function of ESH is the development, implementation and administration of programs which help Murray State University remain in compliance in the areas of environmental, fire and occupational safety and health.
