John R. Farrell Memorial Scholarship-
This scholarship is open to full-time Murray State University juniors, seniors, or graduate students majoring in one of the engineering technology programs. First preference will be given to students in the Manufacturing Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology programs. Academic achievement and financial need as well as honors and extracurricular activities during the applicant's high school career will be considered in the selection process.
Professional Engineering Honor Scholarship-
This $300 scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors as well as Murray State University undergraduate or graduate students majoring in the engineering field.
Charles H. "Jack" and June H. Biggart Scholarship-
Recipients of this scholarship shall be full-time students at Murray State University pursuing a degree in the Department of Industrial and Engineering Technology. Incoming freshman recipients must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or the equivalent. Upper-class recipients must have a minimum grade point average of 2.75. All recipients must be enrolled in at least one class in the Department of Industrial and Engineering Technology during each semester of the award. The amount of the scholarship shall be no less than $500 per year, payable in equal installments over a period of two semesters.
Industry and Technology Scholarship-
Two or three $200 scholarships are awarded annually to graduating high school seniors and full-time Murray State students whose major is in the Department of Industrial and Engineering Technology. Contact the CET program advisor to apply for this scholarship.
Joe Pat and Frances Jane Knight Scholarship
This scholarship of $1,500-$2,500 is open to all graduating high school seniors and full-time Murray State students whose major is in the Department of Industrial and Engineering Technology. Two scholarships are awarded annually. The scholarship will be for one academic year. One-half of the award will be made at the beginning of the fall semester with the remainder at the beginning of the spring semester, provided that the recipient has maintained the minimum grade point average of 3.0 in his/her major and a GPA of 2.5 overall. The award will be based on academic achievement as well as financial need. Applicants should include family financial information.
Dr. Hugh L. Oakley Honorary Scholarship
The Hugh L. Oakley Honorary Scholarship is open to all graduating high school seniors who will attend Murray State University on a full-time basis and will pursue a major in the Department of Industrial and Engineering Technology. Academic achievement and financial need as well as honors and extracurricular activities during the applicant's high school career will be considered in the selection process. |
