Other Ways to Attend

In addition to the traditional four-year campus experience, MSU offers degree opportunities that suit your circumstances and location. Below are links to some of the many ways we can help you reach your higher education goals.

Bachelor of Integrated Studies
According to the National Center for Education Statistics, nearly five million adults were enrolled in colleges across the country in 1997. From 1999-2010, NCES projects an increase of nine percent in students aged 25 and older. Murray State's BIS program is a response to this revolution in higher education.

Extended Campus
Murray State University offers full-service offices at our Paducah, Henderson, Hopkinsville, Madisonville and Ft. Campbell regional campuses. There are a variety of courses and programs available for students who do not have access to the Murray campus.

Online Courses
Online courses give distance learners and commuter students the ability to participate in on-campus life without needing to be physically present. Courses lead toward associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees.

Kentucky Virtual University
Murray State University cooperates with the Kentucky Virtual University — a consortium for online courses offered by institutions across the state of Kentucky. Some of our online courses are offered through this service.

Interactive Television
This page will help guide you through some of the details about Interactive Television on Murray State's campus.

Non-Credit Courses
The Office of Conferences & Workshops offers a variety of non-credit programs, camps, and workshops to the public.

Kentucky Educational Television (KET)
Television courses for credit are offered through the Kentucky Telecommunications Consortium over the Kentucky Educational Television network.
