For years, Murray has been rated as a leading university. U.S.News rated Murray as one of the nation's top public universities, saying, "A degree from a distinguished college helps graduates get good jobs and gain entrance to the world's top graduate programs."

An American Treasure
Murray was one of only six public universities in the nation to be selected by Kaplan, Inc. as a "Hidden Treasure." The honor was based on the results of a Market Measurement, Inc., national survey of high school guidance counselors.

A "Best Deal"
Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine ranked Murray as one of America's Top 40 Public Universities for overall academic quality and affordable tuition. We were also honored as one of the nation's Top Nine Universities in "Best Out-of-State Deals."
