U.S.News & World report selected Murray as a “Top Public”
university, ranking it number six in the South.
The Princeton Review ranked MSU among the nation's “Best
Southeastern Colleges.”
Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine ranked Murray
among America's Top Public Universities for academic
value. For best out-of-state deals, MSU ranked number
52 out of 500-plus colleges that were studied. For instate,
Murray finished 54th. Murray was Kentucky's only regional
university honored.
