Wrather West Kentucky Museum
This traveling Smithsonian exhibition shows how our evolving mobility changed a young nation and how transportation made us grow. The accounts of travelers themselves express the hopes and promises of fresh starts, the grim realities of forced migrations and difficult journeys, and the thrills of personal travel.
Journey Stories is a Museum on Main Street project organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service and brought to you by the Kentucky Humanities Council. Funded by the United States Congress.
