and the Office for Student Affairs

On September 26,2009, the Outstanding Parent(s) or Guardian(s) will be honored during Family Weekend. One finalist will be selected from each Residential College and will be recognized at the beginning of the MSU vs. Eastern Kentucky University football game.  One overall winner will be selected from those finalists as the Murray State University Outstanding Parent(s).  The overall winner will receive overnight accomodations at the Curris Center, a plaque and a framed copy of their student's nomination. The family will receive dinner for three at Tom's Grille along with other gifts from the campus community.

If you are a currently enrolled Murray State student and want to nominate your parent(s) or guardian(s), you can pick up a nomination from your Residential College front desk, download the PDF version here or submit your nomination online.

Nominations must be received by Friday, September 4, 2009.

Entries will be judged by Residential College Heads, representatives from Student Affairs and the MSU Alumni Association.
