SCHOLARSHIPS
The Department of Accounting awards scholarships to outstanding  undergraduate and graduate students based on academic excellence and financial need. Freshmen may apply for the Donald J. Leitch Memorial and the Accounting Department Scholarships. Many other college and university scholarships and other types of financial assistance are also available. The Department awards very attractive and competitive scholarship packages to high school seniors who exhibit high potential for success in the accounting profession. It is extremely important for freshmen students to apply for all possible scholarship programs because many are renewable only if they are awarded in the freshman year.

Substantial amounts of scholarship awards are also made available to upperclassmen. Students may apply for awards through the Accounting Department, Cornman, Trevathan, and Allbritten-Linn Scholarship programs. Graduate students receive scholarships through the Accounting Department program. Contact the Department of Accounting for more information.
