The Masters of Professional Accountancy ( MPAC)
and either (1) a Bachelor of Science in Business (BSB) or (2) a Bachelor
of Arts in Business (BAB) can be earned in dual-degree programs. Students
can concentrate their studies in accounting, accounting and information
systems, or accounting with a finance option. These programs provide students
the opportunity to obtain both an undergraduate degree and a graduate degree
at an accelerated pace upon completion of an integrated set of coursework.
All BSB programs and the BAB program for those students concentrating only
on accounting can be completed with 150 hours of coursework. The
BAB programs for those students concentrating their studies in accounting
and information systems or accounting with a finance option require a few
more hours.
Students apply for the dual-degree program during their junior year
and start taking graduate courses during their senior year. Students that
already possess a bachelor degree with a major or area in accounting are
not eligible for the dual-degree program but may enter the separate MPAC
degree program .
