Research Areas

Ecosystem level processes of streams and reservoirs (lakes). Zoobenthic ecology, interactions between benthic organisms and substrates, particularly relationships between subsurface flow, groundwater and lotic/lentic processes (hyporheic processes). Bioturbation and trace fossils. Effects of toxic substances on behavior and distribution of biota. Controls on zoobenthos populations. Aquatic Coleoptera.
