The Department of Geosciences is located on the campus of Murray State University.  Located in Murray, a city of 17,000 is the hear of Kentucky's lake country, Murray State University has an enrollment of about 10,000 students.  The main campus is only minutes away from the US Forest Service's Land Between the Lakes, a 170,000-acre wildlife and recreation area between Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley.  At MSU, traditional and modern facilities combine to create a warm, friendly and progressive atmosphere for the personal and professional growth of students and researchers.

The Department is located on the first and second floors of Wilson Hall.  Facilities integral to the Department are the Archaeology Laboratory in Ordway Hall, the Hyperspectral Laboratory in Wilson Hall and the Mid-America Remote Sensing Center in Lowry Center.  If you are on or near the MSU campus, we invite you to visit the Department.  Specific inquiries or requests relative to the Department may be forwarded directly to:
