Dr. David White
Receives First MSU
Distinguished
Researcher
Award

Dr. David White, Professor of Biological Sciences and Director of the Hancock Biological Station, has been selected as the first recipient of the MSU Alumni Association's Distinguished Researcher Award.

This new award will be given annually and is intended to recognize outstanding achievement in research and to highlight the significance of faculty research to the educational mission of Murray State University. Dr. White was presented with the award at the Alumni Association Banquet on April 20. Dr. White was recognized for his overall efforts in publication, mentorship of graduate and undergraduate research, and grant writing success.
