The
exhibit features banners that list some of the major discoveries, inventions,
and schools of thought throughout modern history. Additionally, each
department has a visual exhibit of equipment and materials, which have influenced
each respective discipline. The project, completed August 21, 2001, was
designed to give school-aged children an idea of how science and technology
have changed and will continue to change. The exhibit will give students
an idea of how far the human race has advanced scientifically over time.
