The
College of Science, Engineering and Technology is proud of its heritage of a solid
foundation in teaching and research in the departments of biology, chemistry,
industrial and engineering technology, geosciences, mathematics and statistics,
and physics and engineering. Graduates of undergraduate and graduate programs
in the College fare well in the marketplace. The College also holds a Commonwealth
of Kentucky Center of Excellence for Reservoir Research, a multidisciplinary research
program whose mission is to provide an infrastructure for education, research,
and long-term studies of reservoir ecosystems and the Center for Telecommunications
Systems Management. The Center of Excellence for Reservoir Research is comprised
of three research centers: the Hancock Biological Station, the Chemical Services
Laboratory, and the Mid-America Remote sensing Center.
