1. What if I can’t meet a deadline due to a major accident, illness, etc?
By not waiting until the last day, many problems can be avoided. However, in the event of a crisis, contact the Registrar’s Office.
2. Where can I get a copy of the University Calendar each semester?
The University Calendar appears in the Schedule of Classes. Copies are also available in the Registrar’s Office.
3. Why do I need to keep a copy of the University Calendar?
Although you may not think you need to know many of these dates, situations frequently arise that cause you to need them later.
4. How can I keep track of all of the University’s dates and deadlines?
Some suggestions are: post the calendar in your room; keep a copy in your day planner; give a copy to your parents; and review the calendar at least once a month to check for upcoming dates.
5. What if my advisor, teacher, or a friend tells me "not to worry" about some deadline or that they will "take care of it" for me?
Registering, dropping classes, adding classes, filing appeals or withdrawing from school are all your responsibility. Always check with the Registrar’s Office for exact information on policies, procedures, or deadlines.
6. Where can I find the deadlines for refunds, if I drop classes or withdraw from school?
These deadlines are listed in the Refund Table that is available from the Office of the Bursar.
