Course Substitution |

|
The MSU Undergraduate Bulletin lists the requirements that all undergraduate students need to complete before they are able to graduate. There are some specific instances, however, where advisors determine that a course or courses might be used by an individual student in place of a required course. The Course Substitution Form documents the advisor’s approval and provides for the approval of the department chair and dean so that there is no question that approval has been granted. This form should be sent to the Assistant Registrar when complete. Once the substitution is approved, the Registrar’s Office will then forward it to the MAP Report Office where the substitution will be recorded and tracked with the student’s listing of academic progress.
Why Should An advisor Submit the Form?
