All scheduling is done by RACER-TOUCH at (270)809-3500 2:00 a.m. - 4:50 p.m. CST/CDT, Monday-Friday, and 2:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Saturday-Sunday unless otherwise indicated. See Advance Scheduling for dates and times. Students choose their classes from the Schedule of Classes or Murray State Bulletins found at various locations on campus.  

  

RACER-TOUCH
Directions:

Accessing the system

1. Use a Touch-Tone© phone line.

A repeated message of "your response has not been received" means that your phone’s tone cannot be detected.

2. Select a process.

Press 1 to Schedule.
Press 2 for Accounts Receivable or Financial Aid disbursement.
You will be told if there is a financial or admission problem that prevents you from scheduling.

3. Enter the following:

your Social Security number _ _ _ - _ _ - _ _ _ _
your birth date _ _ - _ _ - _ _ (mm-dd-yy)
If these numbers do not agree with those on file, you will be asked to re-enter them.

4. Choose a term.

Press 1 for Fall
Press 2 for Spring
Press 4 for Summer

HINT: Use your calling time to your advantage. If you are scheduling for summer and fall, schedule first for the term in which there are classes that you MUST have, or that have fewer sections offered.

 

Entering Classes

1. Select a process.

Press 2 to change your schedule (drop/add)
Press 1 to schedule (first time each term)

2. Enter and confirm each entry number.

3. Indicate courses that are repeats of classes taken before by entering and confirming each entry number.

4. Listen to your schedule - resolve any problems you can and make notes about any that require follow-up, as they will be deleted.

5. ** Listen for confirmation statement: "You are now scheduled for ..." DO NOT HANG UP.

 

Entering Billing Information

* The following responses are asked for only once each term.

 

1. Parking Decal: $55 per year (August to August)

Press 1 for Yes
Press 2 for No

2. The Shield (yearbook): $40 per copy (fall term only)

Press 1 for Yes
Press 2 for No

3. Meal Plans for Freshmen/ Sophomores: (see Fee Schedule)

Press 0 for 7 Meal
Press 2
for 10 Meal
Press 3 for 15 Meal
Press 4 for 19 Meal
Press 5 for 80 Thoroughbred
Press 7
for 112 Thoroughbred
Press 8 for 160 Thoroughbred
Press 9 for 240 Thoroughbred
Press 6 for none

 ** Everyone who schedules before the first day of a term WILL receive a bill.
Payment due date will appear on your bill.

 

Accounts Receivable/ Financial Aid

Press 2 for account detail
Press 3 to pay by credit card
Press 4 to pay by declining balance
Press 5 to hear financial aid disbursement
